Meet Anna

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist

My passion is helping children and adults improve their health by addressing the underlying causes of breathing, sleep, and oral function concerns.

After spending 17 years in dentistry, including general practice, orthodontics, oral surgery, special needs care, and as a Clinical Instructor in the Dental Hygiene Department at Touro Dental School, I discovered myofunctional therapy and the profound impact it can have on overall health and well-being.

As a myofunctional therapist, I evaluate factors such as breathing patterns, tongue posture, swallowing function, oral habits, posture, and oral restrictions including tongue ties, lip ties, and cheek ties. My goal is to identify the root causes of dysfunction and create individualized treatment plans that support lasting improvements in function and quality of life.

Through education, awareness, and targeted exercises, I help patients develop healthier patterns that can improve breathing, sleep, oral function, facial muscle balance, and overall wellness. I also provide pre- and post-frenectomy support to help patients achieve optimal healing and outcomes.

I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and enjoy collaborating with other healthcare providers to help patients achieve their best health.

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to better breathing, better sleep, and improved overall well-being.
